Reverse Gear Pawl Reason: To prevent transmission damage caused by engaging reverse gear while travelling forwards. The program is activated depending on the vehicle speed. It protects the transmission at speeds above 7 km/h (4 mph) against shifting into driving stage "R". This applies to all driving stages. |
