Automatic Transmission AF 13/17/20/22 Repair Information Before disconnecting the vehicle battery in Vauxhall vehicles, disarm power sounder: Disconnect vehicle battery within 15 seconds after switching off the ignition. Always disconnect the ground lead from the battery before commencing any work. Re-cut thread on bolted connections if locking compound is used. Insert the new screws with screw locking compound (red) if they are not micro-encapsulated. Fastening bolts which are fitted using the torque and angle method (beyond the elastic limit) must not be re-used in Service after they have been released. Before processing adhesives, sealants, etc. check the expiration date. Never use products stored for too long. Wiring harnesses and wiring troughs that must be loosened or removed during repair work, should be re-fastened to the original places using genuine parts from "Aftersales" (cable ties, clips, wiring trough brackets or similar).
