Rocker with Shift Guide, Remove and Install (except F 23)
Remove, Disconnect
Loosen bolt for clamp (1) and separate shift rod from shift guide.
Remove selector rod (2) - to do this, open plastic clips.
Separate universal joint from shift rod - to do this, compress detent springs of the hollow pin (4) and press out hollow pin.
Release retaining clamps (3) and (5) and remove.
Remove bridge with shift guide upwards.
Notice:
Jointed part (arrow) of universal joint can be replaced.
Important!
Do not further dismantle bridge with shift guide.
Install, Connect
Insert bridge with shift guide. Attach retaining clips (x2).
Lubricate ball socket of selector rod with silicone grease. Press ball sockets of selector rod onto ball studs - snap in plastic clips.
Connect plug connection for shift rod to shift guide - do not yet tighten bolt for shift rod clamp.
Install universal joint at shift rod and secure with new hollow pin - expanding springs must engage.
Adjust transmission shift linkage - see operation "Transmission Shift Linkage, Adjust (F 13/F 15/F 17/F 18/F 18+/F 25/F 35)".
Remove, Disconnect

Install, Connect
