Remove, Disconnect Remove transmission - see operation "Transmission, Remove and Install (F 23)".
Disassemble Disassemble transmission - see operation "Transmission, Seal Completely (F 23)". |

Notice: When replacing main shaft bearing ring, also replace roller bearing on main shaft.
Remove, Disconnect Remove fastening bolts (4). Insert KM-6110 (2) into bearing ring (3). Lug (arrow) on KM-6110 must be seated in clutch housing as shown. Spread KM-6110 by tightening hex nut (5) in bearing ring, at the same time, counterhold spindle (1). |

Remove, Disconnect Counterhold spindle (1) of KM-6110 (3) and pull bearing ring out of clutch housing by turning hex nut (2).
Inspect Clean all removed parts and check for wear and damage, replace if necessary. |

Clean Clean thread in clutch housing.
Install, Connect Insert bearing ring (3) in clutch housing and position with hex bolts M6 x 35 (4). Drive bearing ring flush into clutch housing with KM-6111 (2) in conjunction with KM-523-1 (1).
Remove, Disconnect Remove hex bolts M6 x 35. |

Install, Connect Coat fastening bolts with screw locking compound (red). Install fastening bolts (1) - tightening torque 10 Nm / 7 lbf. ft.
Assemble Assemble transmission - see operation "Transmission, Seal Completely (F 23)".
Install, Connect Install transmission - see operation "Transmission, Remove and Install (F 23)". |
