Shift Mechanism Assembly, Remove and Install (F 23) Illustration Shift mechanism assembly (1)
 Remove, Disconnect Remove transmission - see operation "Transmission, Remove and Install (F 23)". |

 Install, Connect Attach transmission to KM-6115 (3). Attach transmission to KM-113-2 (4) with KM-6115.
Remove, Disconnect Remove fit bolt for shift mechanism assembly (2). Remove fastening bolts (arrows) for shift mechanism assembly. Remove shift mechanism assembly (1). |

 Clean Clean sealing surfaces and thread.
 Inspect Check all removed parts, replace if necessary.
Install, Connect Thinly apply adhesive sealing compound (black) in area (1) on transmission casing - maximum thickness 2 mm. Align shift mechanism assembly (2) to transmission inner parts of shift mechanism and insert into transmission. Install fastening bolts (x5) - tightening torque 25 Nm / 18 lbf. ft. |

Install, Connect Coat thread (arrow) of fit bolt (1) with screw locking compound (red). Install fit bolt (2) - tightening torque 25 Nm / 18 lbf. ft.
Remove, Disconnect Remove transmission from KM-113-2 with KM-6115. Remove transmission from KM-6115.
Install, Connect Install transmission - see operation "Transmission, Remove and Install (F 23)". |
