Object Number: 616201 Size: DEFAULT  Important!

Two quick fittings are used on the fuel lines.

•  ITT system up to MY '96 (1) clips with 3 lugs

•  Huran system as of MY '96 (2) clips with 1 lug

Note the following when replacing a fuel line.

The clip supplied by the new supplier Huran has been changed. The ITT clips which are still in stock as a spare part cannot be used for Huran systems (as of MY '96). On the other hand, however, the Huran clips can be used for ITT systems (up to MY '96), providing the following installation procedure is observed:

When replacing clip (3):

First insert clip (3) into bushing (4) - allow it to engage on both sides.

Then insert plug (5) into bushing (4) and forcefully engage in position.

Notice:

A tensile test is carried out at the relevant connections for the fuel line after assembly to ensure that the clips are actually engaged.

The colour of the clips is insignificant for Service.
