Fuel Lines for Heater Element, Remove and Install  

  Remove, Disconnect   

Detach heater element fuel line (1) from fuel feed line - collect escaping fuel in suitable container.   Detach heater element fuel line (2) from heater element - collect escaping fuel in suitable container. Disconnect wiring harness plug (3) from dosing pump.   Remove fastening bolt (4) and remove fuel lines with dosing pump. Detach fuel lines from dosing pump.

  Install, Connect   

Insert fuel lines with dosing pump and install fastening bolts (4) - make certain that routing is correct. Connect wiring harness plug (3) to dosing pump.   Secure fuel lines (1 and 2).     Important!    Bleed fuel system with KM-948 once it has been opened.     Tighten (Torque)    Dosing pump to heater element bracket - 6 Nm / 4 lbf. ft.
