Power Steering Hydraulic Lines Power Steering Hydraulic Lines, Remove and Install (X 16 SZR, X 16 XEL, X 18 XE, X 18 XE1, Y 16 XE, Z 16 XE, Z 18 XE, Z 18 XEL)
 Remove, Disconnect To remove pressure line (2) and return line (1), remove axle body - see operation "Front Axle Body, Remove and Install" in group "E". Notice:
Operation "Front Axle Body, Remove and Install" includes removing pressure line (2) and return line (1) from steering gear and opening of clips (3).
Remove, Disconnect Remove pressure line (5) and return line (4) from power steering pump or from fluid reservoir. |

 Install, Connect Attach pressure line with new seal rings to power steering pump - tightening torque 37.5 Nm / 28 lbf. ft. Attach return line to power steering pump - tightening torque 2.5 Nm / 2 lbf. ft. Install front axle body - see operation "Front Axle Body, Remove and Install" in group "E".
 Inspect Charge and bleed hydraulic system - see operation "Hydraulic System, Charge and Bleed".
