Power Steering Hydraulic Lines, Remove and Install (16 LZ2, X 18 XE, 20 NEJ, X 20 XEV, C 20 SEL, C 22 SEL)
 Remove, Disconnect To remove pressure line (2) and return line (1), remove axle body - see operation "Front Axle Body, Remove and Install" in group "E". Notice:
Operation "Front Axle Body, Remove and Install" includes removing pressure line (2) and return line (1) from steering gear and opening of clips (3).
Remove, Disconnect Disconnect pressure line (5) from power steering pump and ancillary component support. Remove return line (4) from fluid reservoir. Remove return line (6) from cooling loop. Remove cooling loop. Beforehand, remove front panelling - see operation "Front Panelling, Remove and Install" in group "A". |

 Install, Connect Attach pressure line with new seal rings to power steering pump - tightening torque 37.5 Nm / 28 lbf. ft. Connect pressure line to ancillary component support - tightening torque 7 Nm / 5 lbf. ft. Clip in cooling loop. Attach return line to cooling loop and fluid reservoir. Install front axle body - see operation "Front Axle Body, Remove and Install" in group "E".
 Inspect Charge and bleed hydraulic system - see operation "Hydraulic System, Charge and Bleed".
