Lamp socket -2- has an anti-twist mechanism - A arrows -.

Guide lamp recess -arrow- into headlamp anti-twist mechanism - A arrows -.

Press lamp -1- into reflector retaining tabs - 3 and 4 -.

NOTE: 
-

The lamp must engage audibly.

When installing housing cover, check for proper fitting. Water intrusion will damage headlamp.

Check headlamp for function.

CAUTIONS:  If this bulb is replaced, the headlamp adjustment must be then checked and adjusted if necessary.

Removing: 

CAUTION:  Note usage and safety notes for halogen lamps 

NOTE:  During removal and installation, leave ignition key with remote control inside the vehicle to prevent the doors from locking and possibly
activating the "Coming Home / Leaving Home" functions on its own.

In order to be able to replace the bulb, it is sometimes necessary to remove neighboring components at the corresponding headlamp.

Refer to the following table as to which components are to be removed depending on engine version, in order to replace the bulb.

NOTE:

The following illustrations depict replacement of lamp at right headlamp.

Replacement of bulb at left headlamp is performed analogously.

Disengage retaining bracket -3- from housing cover -1- and remove housing cover from retainers -arrows-.
