‹› All screws are microencapsulated and must always be replaced.
‹› Bolt tightening specification 3.5 Nm

Bands 2 and 3 ] See: Routing Tensioning Bands 2 and 3 are secured.

Raise rear window frame and remove (VAS 6365).

Close hydraulic pump bypass screw and close roof.

Carefully press tensioned headliner - 1 - and roof pillar trim - 7 - apart and secure double eye - 4 - on main hinge arm. Direction of double eye is
parallel to edge of outrigger.

Secure tensioning band - 5 - on end eye - 6 - on outside of main hinge in upper threaded connection.

Pull tensioning band - 2 - between main hinge and water drain hose.

Secure the end eyes - 3 - in the lower threaded connection on the outside of the main hinge.
