Supercedes Technical Bulletin Group 61 number 07-07 dated Aug. 21, 2007 due to additional repairs required at sunroof drain hoses, header seal
retainer(s) and header seal cutout.

Windshield Frame Seal, Water Leak
Water intrusion is possible at windshield frame seal (along A-Pillar trim), sunroof drain hose (connection at side-bar), header seal side bar cutout, header
seal retainer and dome light.
NOTE:
This technical bulletin pertains to the use of header seal part number 1Q0 871 409H ONLY.
Technical Background
Water intrusion is possible at the following locations:

Windshield frame seal
^
Header seal retainer
^
Dome light
^
Sunroof drain hose(s)
^
Header seal cutout at side bar(s) begin to collapse, allowing water to pass
Additionally, sunroof drain hose may be installed incorrectly.

Right hand A-Pillar shown, left hand similar.

Collapsed drain hose -2- with incorrect clip location -1- and incorrect drain hose routing -3-.
