Transfer centering mark - arrow a - from tensioned headliner to rail - arrow b -.

Remove screws - 4 - from grommets.

Remove grommets from retaining strip.
CAUTION!
Proceed as carefully as possible when removing retaining strip.
If catches - 5 - are damaged when removing retaining strip, a new tensioned headliner must be installed.

Pull retaining strip just a little toward the rear in - direction of arrow c -, then remove it downward - arrow d -. When doing so, ensure catches -
5 - come out of mounts.
