Removing

‹› After removing roof pillar trim, ensure trim is not damaged by the following roof movement.

Loosen the end eyes - 3 and 6 - on tensioning bands -  2 and 4 - on the outside of the main hinge. Refer to => [ Routing Tensioning Bands 4 and 5

Remove roof pillar trim without loosening tensioning bands. Refer to => [ Roof Pillar Trim ] See: Convertible Top/Service and Repair/Removal
and Replacement/Interior Trim.

Remove screws - 4 - on eyes - 3 - and allow roof pillar trim - 1 - to hang down on tensioning bands -  2 -.
