Removing

-

Remove wheel.

-

Remove wheel housing liner.

-

Remove coil spring. Refer to => [ Coil Spring ] See: Suspension Spring ( Coil / Leaf )/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Coil Spring.

Remove bolts - arrows -.

-

Remove bolt - arrow -.

-

Remove shock absorber.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Observe the following when doing so:

‹› The bolted connections of the shock absorber to the wheel bearing housing must only be fastened when the dimension "a" is achieved! Refer to =>

[ Measure Dimension ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear Suspension/Rear Axle In Curb Weight Position.

Insert shock absorber and tighten bolts - arrows -.
