Function of window regulator with ignition switched off |
The window regulators can be operated for approx. 10 minutes after switching ignition off, as long as the driver's or front passenger's doors have not been opened. |
Press and briefly hold the front section of the respective switch and the window will open fully (automatic window opening). |
If the switch is pressed again, the window will stop immediately. |
Lift and hold the front edge of the switch until the window is closed fully. The window will not close automatically. |
If the window in the driver's or front passenger's door is impeded because it is sticking or due to some obstacle in the closing process (force limitation) the window will open again immediately. |
In this case the window can be closed again only when the ignition is switched on. |
Note t
| After disconnecting and reconnecting the vehicle battery the automatic closing and opening features for the driver's and front passenger's doors are inoperative. |
