Introduction in Golf Variant; as of vehicle ID No. 1HR 458 664.
Introduction in Golf convertible; as of vehicle ID No. 1ES 000 001.
A modified track rod ball joint has been introduced as of vehicle ID No. (see above). The pin is 3 mm longer than previous items. Only the revised track rod ball joint is supplied as a spare part.
In cases of repair on vehicles up to vehicle ID no. 1HR 458 663/1ER 030 000, both track rods ball joints must be renewed.
Mixed installation of different versions on the same vehicle is not permissible.
As of vehicle ID No. (see above), they can be renewed individually.
