Removing

• ‒ Disconnect battery and remove.
• ‒ → Unbolt relay for steering hydraulics (arrow) from battery carrier.
• ‒ Remove bolts -2- and remove battery carrier.

• ‒ → Disconnect hydraulic pipes on pump V 119 and drain hydraulic oil.
• ‒ Disconnect electric wires from pump V 119.
• ‒ Unbolt pump V 119 from engine carrier and remove.

Installing

Install in reverse order.

Filling steering system with hydraulic oil

• ‒ Fill with hydraulic oil Part No. G 002 000 up to max. mark.
• ‒ Start engine, operate button for Ecomatic operation on wiper lever (warning lamp in combi-instrument lights up) and turn steering wheel several times onto right and left locks.
• ‒ Check fluid level in reservoir and if necessary top-up to max. mark.

Do not reuse drained hydraulic oil!
