Test prerequisite
l  Coolant temperature 5…33 °C
l  Secondary air pump motor -V101- OK
Test procedure
   
–  Pull off upper vacuum hose -arrow- on secondary air inlet valve -N112--1-.
–  Start engine and run at idling speed. When secondary air pump motor -V101- runs, vacuum should be noticeable at connection of secondary air inlet valve -N112-.
If no vacuum is perceptible:
–  Switch engine off.
–  Check activation of valve: → Rep. Gr.01.
