  • ◆ T10027 Pin

Notes:

The following points are essential to ensure correct selector adjustment:

  • ◆ Selector mechanism must move freely.

The gearbox, clutch and clutch mechanism must also be in proper condition.

  • ● Gearbox in neutral position.

→ Set selector shaft as follows:

  • ‒ Press selector shaft down to stop (direction of arrow -1-).
  • ‒ Pull selector shaft up slightly while turning angled rod -A- carefully 90° in direction of arrow -2- until it can be felt to engage.

This locks the selector shaft so that it can no longer be moved.

  • ‒ → Now turn right-angled piece -A- back to original position (direction of arrow).
  • ● The angled piece must point straight up.

N34-0882
  • ‒ → Pull pin T10027 out of holes -A- and -B-.
  • ‒ Clip cover into frame.

Functional check

  • ● The gear stick lever must rest in the 3rd/4th gear gate with gearbox in neutral.
  • ‒ Operate clutch.
  • ‒ Select all gears several times. Pay particular attention to the operation of the reverse gear lock.

Should a gear fail to engage smoothly after repeated selection, the selector shaft play (lift) should be checked as follows:

  • ‒ Engage 1st gear.
  • ‒ Press gear stick to left onto stop and release.

N34-1591
  • ‒ At the same time observe selector shaft in gear box (2nd mechanic).
  • ‒ → When moving the gear stick the selector shaft must move approx. 1 mm (in direction of arrow).
  • ‒ If this is not the case, adjust selector mechanism =>Page 34-21 .
