Torque settings and notes concerning engine mountings
For:
Golf 2004, Golf Plus 2005, Touran 2003 with 1.4 l - 103 and 125 kW TSI and Sharan with 1.4l - 110 kW TSI
   
M12 - 80 Nm
q   If insert 18 mm -T10179- is used: 65 Nm.
M10 - 40 Nm
 - Arrows point towards dowel sleeves

–  Renew all bolts on left assembly mounting.
–  First screw in all bolts by hand.
   
–  First bolt bracket -A- to gearbox -1- with 40 Nm + 90° further turn.
–  The bracket can be levered into the correct position with a screwdriver as bolts -2- are tightened. Torque settings of -bolts 2-: 60 Nm + 90°.
Starter to gearbox → Rep. gr.27.
Assembly mounting bolts must be renewed.
Subframe to body → Rep. gr.40.
