Removing –  Switch off ignition. –  Set drip tray for workshop hoist -VAS 6208- underneath.

–  Remove drain plug -A- and drain high-performance oil for Haldex coupling completely. –  Install drain plug -A- with new seal and tighten to 30 Nm.

–  Lower final drive slightly by loosening securing bolt -arrow- on front mounting bracket for final drive about 7 turns.

–  Pull connector -arrow- for pump off control unit.

–  Pull wiring harness together with retainer -A- off housing and lay away from housing. –  Press locking lugs -B- together and push as far as possible into drilling in housing.

–  Retighten securing bolt -arrow-. –  Place drip tray for workshop hoist -VAS 6208- under rear final drive.

–  Remove securing bolts for pump -1-. –  Pull out pump -arrow- together with wiring protection -2- from Haldex housing.
