Installing
–  Fit connector to engine control unit and lock in position.
–  Push engine control unit onto retaining plate for engine control unit and engage it.
Select “guided functions” in vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system -VAS 5051-.
–  Perform vehicle identification and select engine code.
–  Perform function “Renew engine control unit”.
   
–  Push protective cover -2- onto bracket for engine control unit.
–  Tighten new shear bolts -1- evenly until heads shear off.
–  Remove plenum chamber bulkhead → General body repairs, exterior; Rep. Gr.50.
