Removing and installing aluminium sealing flange > < Removing and installing sealing flange - pulley end
Removing and installing crankshaft sealing flange - flywheel end

Different sealing flanges can be fitted. Allocation → ETKA (electronic parts catalogue).
Features of plate sealing flange:
t  No centring pins fitted
t  Sealing lip towards gearbox
t  Bolts shorter than in case of aluminium sealing lip
Features of aluminium sealing flange:
t  Centring pins necessary in cylinder block
t  Sealing lip towards engine
t  Bolts longer than in case of plate sealing flange
  Note
t  If a plate sealing flange is installed in place of an aluminium sealing flange, pull out centring pins and use shorter bolts → ETKA (Electronic parts catalogue).
t  If an aluminium sealing flange is installed in place of a plate sealing flange, insert centring pins and use longer bolts → ETKA (Electronic parts catalogue).
