1 - 25 Nm
q   Renew
q   Coat studs of exhaust manifold with high-temperature paste
2 - Lambda probe after catalytic converter -G130-
q   55 Nm
q   Bank 1, probe 2
q   Colour of connector: black.
q   Grease only the threads with high-temperature paste. The paste must not penetrate into the slots on the probe body
3 - Lambda probe 2 after catalytic converter -G131-
q   55 Nm
q   Bank 2, probe 2
q   Grease only the threads with high-temperature paste. The paste must not penetrate into the slots on the probe body
q   Colour of connector: brown.
4 - Exhaust gas temperature sender 1 -G235-
q   Specified torque: 45 Nm
q   Grease thread with high-temperature paste.
5 - NOx storage catalytic converter
q   With front exhaust pipe.
q   Protect from damage by knocks and impact.
q   With flexible connection (de-coupling element).
q   Do not bend flexible connection more than 10° - otherwise it can be damaged.
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
q   Aligning exhaust system free of stress → Chapter
6 - NOx sender -G295-
q   Specified torque: 60 Nm
q   Grease only the threads with high-temperature paste. The paste must not penetrate into the slots on the probe body
7 - Rubber mounting
q   Renew if damaged.
8 - Threaded union
q   Tighten bolted connections evenly. Specified torque and installation position → Chapter
9 - Rubber mounting
q   Renew if damaged.
10 - Rear silencer
q   In initial equipment, component with centre silencer. Can be renewed individually for repair purposes
q   Aligning exhaust system free of stress → Chapter.
q   Separate exhaust system → Chapter.
11 - Mounting
q   Renew if damaged.
12 - 25 Nm
13 - Rear clamp
q   For separate replacement of centre and rear silencers
q   Tighten bolted connections evenly. Specified torque and installation position → Chapter
14 - Centre silencer
q   Combined in one unit with rear silencer as original equipment. Can be renewed individually for repair purposes
q   Aligning exhaust system free of stress → Chapter.
q   Separate exhaust system → Chapter.
15 - Rubber mounting
q   Renew if damaged.
16 - 25 Nm
17 - Front clamp
q   Align exhaust system free of stress before tightening clamp → Chapter.
q   Tighten bolted connections evenly. Specified torque and installation position → Chapter
18 - Threaded union
q   Tighten bolted connections evenly. Specified torque and installation position → Chapter
19 - Mounting
20 - 25 Nm
21 - Mounting
q   Renew if damaged.
22 - Gasket
q   Renew
