| q | Do not separate connector before successfully completing self-diagnosis. Switch ignition off before separating connector. |
| The following components are integrated into the control unit: |

| t | Yaw rate sender -G202- |
| t | Longitudinal acceleration sender -G251- (depending on equipment fitted) |
| q | Removing and installing → Chapter. |
| 2 - | ABS hydraulic unit -N55- |
| q | Location: on right in engine compartment. |
| The hydraulic unit consists of the components: |
| t | ABS hydraulic pump -V64- |
| t | Brake pressure sender -G201- |
| t | Valve block (contains inlet and outlet valves). |
| q | ABS hydraulic pump -V64- and valve block must not be separated from one another. |
| q | Removing and installing → Chapter. |
| 3 - | Brake pad warning lamp -K32- |
| q | Location: in dash panel insert. |
| q | Function: → Chapter. |
| 4 - | ABS warning lamp -K47- |
| q | Location: in dash panel insert. |
| q | Function: → Chapter. |
| 5 - | ESP and TCS warning lamp -K155- |
| q | Only vehicles with ABS/EDL/TCS/ESP. |
| q | Location: in dash panel insert. |

Note| In vehicles equipped with 3rd generation electromechanical power steering, the steering angle sender is located in the steering box. |
