Wiper Arms

Removing:

-

Wiper arms, removing. Refer to => [ Wiper Arms, Removing ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Windshield Washer System. 

Installing:

‹› Only tighten the wiper arm nuts to the specification after adjusting the wiper blade park position.

Deactivate APP function. Refer to => [ Wiper Motor Alternating Park Position Function, Deactivating ] See: Wiper Motor/Testing and Inspection
if not already done by this time.

With the ignition on, switch the windshield wipers on and off again to move the wiper motor into the park position.

Place the wiper arms on the wiper arm shafts in the approximate park positions and tighten the nuts - arrows - by hand.

Adjust the windshield wiper blade park position. Refer to => [ Windshield Wiper Blades, Adjusting Park Position ] See: Adjustments/Windshield
