Air Distribution Control - Flexible Cable, Removing And Installing 

Removing 

CAUTION:

-

Switch off all electrical consumers.

-

Switch ignition off and remove ignition key. 

-

Remove radio.

-

Bring flexible shaft into the following position:

-

Rotate air distribution rotary switch -1- long enough until shaft locking mechanism -2- is visible in step-up gearing -3-.

-

Remove heating and A/C controls

-

Carefully pull out adapter.

-

Press in retaining tab -arrow- and remove flexible cable.

Installing: 
Install in reverse order of removal, ensuring air distribution rotary control knob has not been moved from the positions as specified for removal.

NOTE: 

-

When installing flexible cable, adapter and rotary switches on heating and ventilation controls must be oriented in a specific manner.
