Position: Longitudinal control arm/wheel bearing housing bolts

The sequence of the following work steps must absolutely be observed!

-

Install trailing link and mounting bracket with bolts - 2 - on wheel bearing housing but do not tighten yet.

Install coupling rod - 3 - in longitudinal control arm, do not tighten nut.

Lift suspension using Engine/Transmission Jack VAG 1383 A and Wheel Hub Support T10149 until mounting bracket makes contact with body.

-

Tighten bolts - arrows - on old impressions.

-

Lower suspension back using Engine/Transmission Jack VAG 1383 A and remove Wheel Hub Support T10149 from wheel hub.

Tighten bolts - 2 - for trailing link to tightening torque, make sure components are in required position when doing this.
