Disengage knob.

After installing, engage knob again, push plastic part beneath knob downward again.

Transport protection can be removed on new knobs after disengaging.

Disconnect connector from cover.

Remove knob upward
In the Rabbit/GTI handle, the button must also not be pressed in.

If this should happen anyway, unclip handle trim upward.

Press small lever for cable rod - arrow - again into groove before handle is installed.

After installing, engage knob again, push plastic part beneath knob downward again.
