Anti-Theft Alarm System Ultrasound Sensor, Left Rear Side of Roof

From model year 2007, the Vehicle Inclination Sensor (G384) and Anti-Theft Alarm System Ultrasound Sensor  (G209) are installed in one unit on
the left rear side  of the roof.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Trim removal wedge (VAS 3409)

CAUTION!
‹› Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

‹› Remove ignition key.

‹› When removing and installing components in a visible area (switches,  covers, trim, etc.), mask off the areas at which a prying tool ( (

VAS 3409), screwdriver) will be positioned, using commercially available  adhesive tape.

Removing

Using the  (VAS 3409), unclip the Anti-Theft Alarm  System Ultrasound Sensor - arrow -.

‹› The clip - 1 - that holds the Anti-Theft Alarm System  Ultrasound Sensor has three prongs. To loosen the Anti-Theft Alarm System  Ultrasound

Sensor, the three prongs must be pressed. Otherwise, the sensor  will not come out.

Remove the Anti-Theft Alarm System Ultrasound Sensor.
