| Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Note also the following: |

| Unhook speedometer cable in plenum chamber (speedo cable is only clipped on combi-instrument). |

| Slide dash panel with retaining pins -2- in support brackets -3-. |

| Check seating of air guide on heater housing. |

| After reconnecting the battery, ensure vehicle equipment (radio, clock, electric window regulators) is checked as per Workshop manual/Owner's manual. |

| If airbag warning lamp (K75) indicates a fault following installation, use fault reader -V.A.G 1551- to erase fault memory and then interrogate again → Chapter. |
