Installing

Note

When inserting a new circlip ensure opening faces upwards, installation position -arrow-.

–	Fit new seal on sender. (Coat seal with lubricate, e.g. assembly paste -G 052 109 A2-).

–	Locking device on sender must face downwards when inserting into brake servo and must audibly engage.

–	Reconnect connector to sender and ensure it engages correctly.

Note

t	Ensure sender seats securely by pulling on sender by hand.

t	Leaks at sender and/or seal, insufficient brake servo and poor engine idling.

t	For clarity of illustration, the insertion of the sender is shown on a removed brake fluid reservoir.
