Secure the button against being pushed in, using a tie strap or wire.

Unclip the cover.

-

Disengage the handle.

-

After installing, engage the knob again, push the plastic part beneath the handle downward again.

-

Transport protection can be removed on new handles knobs after disengaging.

-

Disconnect the connector from the cover.

-

‹› After installation, the cable must be checked for ease of movement and must be adjusted.

Remove the center console.

-

Remove the cable from the transmission. Refer to => [ Selector Lever Cable ]. See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/09M,09MA

Remove the exhaust system components from underneath the heat shield.
