With All Wheel Drive (AWD)

Remove the driveshaft.
Continuation for All Vehicles

Remove the heat shield from the bottom of the vehicle.

Remove the 4 selector mechanism nuts from above.

Remove the selector mechanism.
Tightening specification for the nuts: 8 Nm

After installation, check the cable. Refer to => [ Selector Lever Cable, Checking ] See: Shift Linkage/Shift Cable/Testing and Inspection.
