Lightly lubricate the outer circumference of the seal with gear oil.

Drive in the seal using the (T40008) until it is flush.

Install the slave cylinder with release bearing. Refer to => [ Slave Cylinder with Release Bearing ] See: Clutch/Clutch Release Bearing/Service
and Repair/Slave Cylinder With Release Bearing.

‹› Install the transmission.

‹› Sleeve (VW 423)

‹› Pulling Hook (T20143)

‹› Sealing grease (G 052 128 A1)

Remove the air filter housing if it is located above the selector shaft.
