Removing and installing engine

Notes:

  • ◆ The air conditioningrefrigerantcircuit must be opened in order to remove the engine.
  • ◆ To avoid damage to condenser as well as to coolant pipes and hoses, be careful not to over-stretch, kink or bend pipes or hoses.
  • ‒ Extract refrigerant from air conditioning refrigerant circuit.

=> Heating, Air conditioning; Repair group 87; Repair work on refrigerant circuit which can only be carried out by properly trained mechanics (Specialist workshops for air conditioning)

  • ‒ Open refrigerant circuit above at condenser and below at the bulkhead.

Note:

The air conditioning compressor may remain fitted.
