  WARNING
The repainting procedure covers the plain plate and the application of varnish. Observe the steps to be performed in function of the affected layer.
Pretreatment:
–  Sand the surface with P 150 and P 400 sandpaper.
–  Apply degreasing solution.
Correction of imperfections:
–  Correct imperfections with polyester paste, by following the manufacturer's specifications (Polyester paste + catalyst).
–  Dry the polyester paste (air or short waves).
–  Sand with P 80 sandpaper
  Note
With a sanding club or with a sanding machine or then with a vacuum plan.
Sanding control:
–  Control the sanding process (spray or dust)
–  Sand with P 150 and P 240 sandpaper
  Note
With a sanding club or with a sanding machine or then with a vacuum plan.
Cleaning:
–  Apply degreasing solution.
Anticorrosive protection:
–  Apply a phosphatizing primer by following the manufacturer's specification (phosphatizing primer + catalyst).
  Note
With an HVLP spray gun, with an opening and line pressure specified by the manufacturer, 1 or 2 coats.
–  Dry the phosphatizing primer in air (time specified by manufacturer).
Surface preparation:
–  Apply PU primer by respecting manufacturer's specification (PU primer + catalyst + diluent).
  Note
With an HVLP spray gun, with an opening and line pressure specified by the manufacturer, 2 or 3 coats.
–  Dry the PU primer in air or short waves (time specified by the manufacturer).
–  Sand with P 400 and P 500 sandpaper
  Note
With a sanding club or with a sanding machine or then with a vacuum plan.
Cleaning:
–  Apply degreasing solution.
Application of base (water solvent):
–  Apply the base by respecting manufacturer's specification (base + diluent).
  Note
With an HVLP spray gun, with an opening and line pressure specified by the manufacturer, 2 + 1/2 coats.
–  Dry the base in air or in the oven (time specified by manufacturer), until matting.
Application of varnish:
–  Apply the varnish by respecting manufacturer's specification (varnish + catalyst + diluent).
  Note
With an HVLP spray gun, with an opening and line pressure specified by the manufacturer, 2 coats.
–  Dry the varnish in air or short waves (time specified by the manufacturer).
