Install the command device to the hydraulic unit > < Command unit for hydraulic unit - remove and install

t  If a command device is damaged, it will be necessary to separate the device from the hydraulic unit and replace only the command device.
t  If the hydraulic unit is damaged, replace it along with the command unit

–  Remove the external Torx E5 screws -1 to 6- from the hydraulic unit.
The Torx screws must not be reused.
  WARNING
It is forbidden to separate the reflux pump from the hydraulic unit.
–  Carefully remove the command device from the hydraulic unit, pulling it upwards.

While removing the command device, ensure that the valve tubes -1- from the hydraulic unit -b- are not bent with the electromagnetic coils -2- of the command device -a-.
–  Cover the command unit electromagnetic coils with a lint-free cloth.
–  Check the sealing surfaces of the hydraulic system unit for cleanliness; if necessary, clean with ethyl alcohol using a lint-free cloth.
While working on the hydraulic system unit sealing surfaces, do not use files, metal scrapers, sandpapers or similar tools.
If the hydraulic unit sealing surface is damaged (scratches or wear signs), replace the brake system hydraulic unit.

–  Check the contact springs -1- in the hydraulic unit (reflux pump) for any burnt or oxidized spots.
No grinding or cleaning operations are permitted on the contact springs, and the hydraulic unit must be replaced along with the command device.
–  Protect the open hydraulic system unit against damage to the valve tubes, and cover the unit with a lint-free cloth.
