Camshaft - check axial clearance Special tools and workshop equipment required

t  Support -VW 387- t  Centesimal dial gauge

–  Camshaft - check axial clearance Measure with support elements and engine cylinder head cover removed. –  Press camshaft on the central bearing -arrow-, and check axial clearance moving the camshaft. Wear limit: max. 0.01 in
