Note| t | The adapter cannot be removed without damaging it and therefore it must be renewed always. |
| t | Installation is performed together with roof spoiler → Chapter. |
| l | Roof spoiler is removed → Chapter. |
Note| t | Clean dirt from all joints so that no paintwork is damaged when attached parts are removed. |
| t | Mask of adjoining paintwork using adhesive tape to prevent damage. |
| – | Put cutting cord -357 853 999 A--1- between rear lid and adapter -2-. |
| – | Cut through adhesive sealants on one side of roof spoiler using a „sawing“ motion with both pull handles -V.A.G 1351/1--3- and remove adapter -2-. |
