Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Torque wrench -V.A.G 1331-
  Note
On RHD vehicles, the wiper blades are a mirror image of those on LHD vehicles.
–  Allow wiper to move to park position and then switch ignition off.
–  Now adjust windscreen wiper blade park position.

Driver side:
The distance -A- between top of wiper lip and upper side of plenum chamber cover must be 25 mm.
–  If necessary, adjust wiper blade park position by moving wiper arm.
Removing and installing wiper arms → Chapter
–  Tighten threaded connection to specified torque → Chapter.

Front passenger side:
The distance -B- between top of wiper lip and upper side of plenum chamber cover must be 25 mm.
–  If necessary, adjust wiper blade park position by moving wiper arm.
Removing and installing wiper arms → Chapter
–  Tighten threaded connection to specified torque → Chapter.
