Push the bracket toward the brake pedal - arrow - and fasten it there using a cable tie.

-

Mark connector - C - to control motor (danger of interchange with other connectors of same construction).

-

Disconnect connector - C - on Left Temperature Door Motor V158.

-

Remove cover - A -.

-

Remove bolts - D - (1.4 Nm) and remove Left Temperature Door Motor V158 - B -.

-

Disengage control motor lever - E - from connecting rod - F -.

Installing

NOTE:  Optimized motors are marked with an "X".

For improved installation, use a raised head screw N 103 254 01 which has been shortened 2 mm.

Remove the mount - 1 - from the old temperature regulator door motor V158 using, for example, a diagonal cutter.

Mount the new Left Temperature Door Motor V158 marked with an "X" using the shortened raised head screw - 2 - to the detached mount - 1 - to
the bracket - 3 - on the blower case.

NOTE:
-

After installing, function of left temperature door must be checked.

-

Initiate "Basic Setting" function with Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051 (or succeeding model)
