Separate connector -1-.

-

Remove bolts -2- and -3-.

-

Remove sensor.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal. Observe the following when doing so:

Sensor left must face toward outside of vehicle.

After replacing, perform basic setting for headlights.

Tightening Specifications

Vehicle Level Sensor (Steel Subframe)

Vehicle Level Sensor (Rabbit, Steel Subframe)

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Torque Wrench V.A.G 1331

Removing

-

Separate connector -1-.

-

Remove bolts -2- from lower transverse link.

-

Remove bolts -arrows- from subframe.

-

Remove Left Rear Level Control System Sensor G76.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal. Observe the following when doing so:

The Left Rear Level Control System Sensor G76 lever must point toward the outside of the vehicle.

After replacing, perform a headlamp basic setting Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing, and Information System VAS 5051 in "Guided Fault Finding"
