Pull in seal and sleeve together.

A - Screw spindle from seal installer set 3066 into threaded piece of differential.

B - Nut M12

Pull seal with sleeve in up to stop via thrust pad T10148 by turning nut -B-.

Fill area between sealing lip and dust lip halfway with sealing grease G 052 128 A1.

Insert flange shaft.

Secure flange shaft with countersunk bolt.

-

If you have removed turbocharger oil return line at engine, re-install it now -arrow-.

-

Install drive axle -1- to flange shaft.

-

If equipped, install drive axle shield.

-

Check and fill gear oil.

-

Install noise insulation.

Tightening torque

Flange shaft to transmission (countersunk screw) 25 Nm
