Before starting repair work, perform the following:

Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

In order to replace speaker, side trim must first be removed.

‹› When removing side trim, treble speaker may break away from trim due to a short wire connector from wire mount to speaker connector - arrows 

-. Therefore, carefully remove side trim.

Disconnect connector at treble speaker and then remove side trim.

Release locking mechanism of harness connector - arrows - and disconnect it.

Using a suitable drill, drill out rivets - arrows - and remove loudspeaker.
