Installing

Insert speaker trim in door trim.

-

Place speaker on speaker trim plastic clips.

-

Heat-seal the plastic clips using a soldering iron - arrows  -.

Further installation is in the reverse sequence to removal.

‹› Treble speakers are secured to door trim from behind.

‹› After removing treble speaker, speaker trim must always be replaced. 

‹› Removal and installation of left or right side speakers is identical. 

Removing

Before starting repair work, perform the following:

-

Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

In order to be able to replace a speaker, door trim must first be removed.

Release locking mechanism of harness connector - arrows - and disconnect it.
