‹› Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1331)

Removing

-

Remove left, side instrument panel cover => [ Instrument Panel Side Covers ] See: Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Instrument Panel Side Covers

-

Remove the hood release lever.

-

Remove the upper trim on the left B-pillar from the brackets => [ Upper B-Pillar Trim Mounts ] See: Upper B-Pillar Trim Mounts

-

Remove the lower trim on the left B-pillar => [ Lower B-Pillar Trim ] See: Lower B-Pillar Trim

-

Remove the lower trim on the A-pillar on the driver side 

-

Remove bolt - 1 - (1.5 Nm) and pull support cover -  2 - upward out of mounts in floor panel.

Installing

-

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

Upper A-Pillar Trim

‹› Removal and installation is described for the left-hand side of the vehicle. Removal and installation for the right-hand side is performed in the

same manner.

Removing

-

Pull the trim - 1 - in the area of the inscription " Airbag" into the vehicle interior out of the catch in the A-pillar.
