8. Change bit 6 from x1xxxxxx to x0xxxxxx by using the keypad and select the "Q" key on the keypad.

NOTE:  

All 8 bits must be typed in order. Be sure to only change the bit shown in the illustration below. The Q button must be pressed to lock in the
coding.

TIP:  

Bits are read from right to left starting with 0. (Example bit index 7-6-5-4-3-2-1-0.)

9. Select the forward arrow key to accept the coding.

10. Select the back arrow to the diagnostic function screen, select 004 DTC memory content.
11. Check and erase the DTC memory.
