Make sure that coil spring is seated correctly in spring  support f/VAS6046 (VAS 6046/3) - arrow -. 

Coil Spring, Installing

Place coil spring on spring support f/VAS6046 (VAS 6046/3) at bottom.

Make sure that coil spring is seated correctly in spring  support f/VAS6046 (VAS 6046/3) - arrow -. 

-

Place upper backing plate - 1 - onto coil spring  and upper washer - 2 - on upper backing plate.

-

Install upper spring plate so that both center lines - A  and B - are parallel to each other.
